United Diplomatic Council: A New Era in Global Diplomacy

The launch of the United Diplomatic Council (UDC) in Abu Dhabi marks a defining moment for global dialogue, where diplomacy moves beyond borders and becomes an enabler of strategic collaboration, economic development, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connectivity.

The room resonated with global voices as Ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, Royal Family representatives, and UAE businessmen came together with one shared mission—to align diverse expertise toward a strategic cause that will shape a better world.

Global participation was truly inspiring, with representation from Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Chad, Uzbekistan, Cote d’Ivoire, Timor-Leste, Ghana, Somalia, Rwanda, Netherlands, as well as United Nations officials, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Royal Family representatives, the Presidential Envoy of Botswana, South Africa, and many more nations. This is where nations unite to craft solutions for challenges that transcend geography.

The delegates addressed various forms of diplomacy—economic, trade, cultural, energy, climate, and digital diplomacy—with each domain requiring cooperation, creativity, and commitment.
Mr. Shiju Peetambaran, the newly installed Honorary Trade Commissioner for the India Commonwealth Trade Council pledged his extensive strategic support to nations under the Commonwealth framework. His leadership, combined with Ascentia’s forward-thinking approach in building sustainable business ecosystems, positions this partnership as a vital force for creating long-term impact in international trade and diplomacy.

As the UDC takes root in Abu Dhabi, Ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, experts, and friends are joining and sharing their experience and vision. Together, we are shaping solutions that transcend borders, sectors, and expectations—aligning global strengths for a common strategic cause.

Working collectively for peace, prosperity, and partnership—true to the spirit of “Diplomacy Beyond Borders.”
