
The Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) successfully hosted the India-Malawi Trade Conference in New Delhi on the 7th August, marking a significant milestone in strengthening trade and investment ties between India and Malawi.
The conference brought together eminent dignitaries, business leaders, and trade experts from both nations.The evening was graced by His Excellency Mr. Leonard Senza Mengezi, High Commissioner of Malawi to India and His Excellency Mr. Amararam Gurjar, IFS, Indian High Commissioner designate to Malawi.
Their presence underscored the growing commitment to deepening bilateral relations and unlocking opportunities for mutual growth with a special emphasis on Malawi’s role.
Guest of Honour, H.E. Mr. Amararam Gurjar, delivered an address highlighting India’s continued commitment to enhancing trade relations across Africa, with a focus on India Malawi’s development through capacity building, education, and sustainable trade cooperation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of IETO, who reaffirmed the organization’s mission to serve as a strategic platform for south-south cooperation and trade dialogue.
The India-Malawi Trade Conference not only celebrated the historical ties between the two nations but also laid a strong foundation for a future of shared prosperity, innovation, and economic collaboration.
