Delegation to Albania

From May 23 to 26, 2025, a business delegation will visit Albania to explore partnerships in key growth sectors. Albania’s economy is on an upward trajectory, with the World Bank projecting 3.2% growth in 2025, driven by rising investment and consumption. Tourism remains a flagship industry, attracting over 10 million international visitors in 2023, with growing opportunities in eco-tourism and luxury hospitality. Renewable energy is another major focus, as Albania diversifies beyond hydropower into solar and wind, bolstered by a €1 billion clean energy deal with Italy and the UAE.
The delegation will also explore opportunities in technology and outsourcing, with Albania emerging as a regional hub thanks to its young, tech-savvy workforce and investor-friendly policies. Agriculture continues to play a vital role, offering potential in organic farming, food processing, and exports as Albania strengthens ties with European markets. Infrastructure development is accelerating, with increased investments in transport, energy, and urban projects. The visit aims to build strong collaborations aligned with Albania’s strategic growth sectors, fostering long-term economic partnerships.
