IETO Meets Korea Trade Consultant Association Chairman in Seoul to Explore Business Collaboration
Seoul, 9 October 2026 — The Indian Economic Trade Organization (IETO) held a meeting in Seoul with Mr. Soo Sang Lee, Chairman of the Korea Trade Consultant Association, to discuss ways to connect Indian companies with trade consultants in Korea.
The discussion focused on building practical collaboration between Indian businesses and Korean trade consultants, helping companies identify relevant contacts and explore opportunities in each other’s markets. Participants also discussed the value of local market knowledge in supporting cross-border business engagement.
Dr. Asif Iqbal, President of IETO, said: “This meeting is a constructive step toward connecting Indian companies with experienced trade consultants in Korea. Their market knowledge can help businesses build the right relationships and explore opportunities with greater confidence. IETO looks forward to developing this dialogue with the KTCA.”

IETO and the Korea Trade Consultant Association expressed interest in continuing dialogue and exploring ways to facilitate connections between Indian companies and Korean consultants.
The meeting reflects IETO’s efforts to strengthen India–Korea economic engagement and support business collaboration between the two countries. The SPV created between the two countries is a great opportunity for Koreans visiting India for business.
